Why a Beppu-based company prints across all of Japan

Beppu is one of Japan's most internationally connected cities — home to APU (Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University) and one of the highest foreign-resident populations per capita in the country. We grew up at the intersection of cultures here, fluent in English and Japanese, and we built Mochiron specifically to serve people who don't speak Japanese but need things to happen at Japanese speed and quality. We work with a curated network of printers across Japan, so wherever you need delivery — Tokyo Big Sight, a Kyoto venue, an Osaka pop-up — we have a press nearby.

Founded and led by Aravinda Wijesinghe, with a small bilingual team based in Beppu. Our designers, translators and account managers reply quickly and ship accurately so foreign founders, restaurateurs and event organisers in Japan can move at full speed.
